No More Skating

Every time we think about the events of last Wednesday when David fell on the ice on the patio, we just shake our heads. David didn't even get sore from the fall he took! His neck was a little bit sore if he turned his head a certain way. And what really made us thankful all over again---Sunday morning someone in our Sunday School class asked for prayers for a doctor they know who fell on the ice and is still in ICU with brain issues. We were truly blessed.

David Invited to Sing in FBC Choir

Sunday morning as the worship service was over, the couple in front of us caught David and told him that they REALLY needed him in their choir this Thursday night (they are hosting the associational meeting there.) David told them that they didn't want him. They assured him that they did, because they heard the great tenor he was singing. . . .

He set them straight that it was me singing. My voice just keeps getting lower and lower. And the months of not using it hasn't helped that a lot! They just didn't want to believe it wasn't David.

Herceptin Treatment

I had radiation at 11:20 a.m.

I had my Herceptin treatment at 3 p.m. David didn't go with me, I didn't see the point. But both Dr. Brooks, his nurse and the chemo nurse asked where my husband was. This was the first treatment he hadn't attended and it was noticed.
